About the Role
The Vice President of Sales at Raintree will be responsible for defining and executing the company's sales strategy to achieve revenue and market growth objectives. This leader will drive high-performing new logo sales teams, foster strategic partnerships, and build strong relationships with customers to position Raintree as a leader in its industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Raintree's business objectives.
Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, driving revenue growth across products and services.
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine the sales approach.
Team Development and Management:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Establish performance metrics and provide ongoing coaching to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Customer and Partner Relationships:
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Travel to customer onsite meetings and presentations and represent Raintree at industry events and conferences, acting as a brand ambassador.
Sales Operations and Analytics:
Partner with Rev Ops to deliver accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Implement best practices for sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:
Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Partnerships and Operations to align sales strategies with broader business goals.
Provide market and customer feedback to guide product innovation and positioning.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven track record of success in sales leadership, preferably at the VP or senior director level within the SaaS/Healthcare IT industry.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
Strong ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in sales analytics, CRM tools, and sales enablement technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
