Reports to: Chief Strategy Officer

Remote U.S.  (designated states)

This position is fully remote and may be performed from one of the following U.S. states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IN, KS, MA, MI, MS, NC, NV, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA.

The Head of Partnerships is a member of the strategy team who is responsible for managing all partnership aspects of Raintree.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build an effective vendor and partnerships strategy and execute against it, including segmentation and assessment of existing partners.
  • Serves as a leader responsible for building pipeline, sourcing, negotiating, executing, and maintaining unique, impactful partnership opportunities to achieve the organization's short and long-range goals. Working with internal stakeholders, they will ensure that strategies and deals represent the best interest within Raintree.
  • Work with the Product team to build market deep dives, understand customer needs, and identify key market opportunities. Lead in sourcing the appropriate partnerships to drive value for our clients.
  • Work with Finance and Product to build economic models to determine favorable and long-term pricing strategies. 
  • Utilize past partnership experience in identifying ideal types of partnerships and deal structures (e.g. white label, reseller, revenue share, etc).
  • Work with key stakeholders to create and negotiate contracts. 
  • Create and maturate our partnership program and processes, from beginning through to partnership management.
  • Be the point of contact for Raintree partnerships and be able to ensure they are meeting SLAs, operational and client engagement expectations, roadmap commitments, and quality of service. 
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment with the company's commitment to improving outcomes and ensuring that our goals are aligned and measured.
  • Build departmental budgets and manage towards budgets and company targets.
  • Work with partners to secure commitments for Raintree’s user conference exhibitors.

Position Proficiencies and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Five or more years of experience in enterprise software focused on partnership management, contract creation and negotiation, and value-creation
  • Experience driving value-creation through partnerships to meet business goals in a technology environment highly desired
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Budgeting experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and achieve results through a cross functional team
