This position is fully remote and may be performed from one of the following U.S. states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IN, KS, MA, MI, MS, NC, NV, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA.

We are currently seeking an exceptional Project Manager to join our team and support our clients within our Professional Services organization. 

The Project Manager will have dual responsibility for scoping and delivery of all aspects of the project, from initiation to completion. They are responsible for ensuring the opportunities are scoped appropriately by working with internal teams and projects are delivered within scope, on time and within budget.

The Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project, including clients, team members and management.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project Scoping: Triage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on providing a comprehensive scope based on client’s desired outcomes. 
  • Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget requirements. Identify and document project dependencies, risks, and constraints.
  • Team Management: Assemble a project team with the necessary skills and expertise. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, and provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, vendors, and internal teams. Establish effective communication channels and manage stakeholder expectations. Provide regular project updates and reports.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the project budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost control. Allocate and optimize project resources, such as personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve project objectives efficiently. For subscription clients ensure appropriate documentation and processes are followed. 
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring: Monitor project progress against the project plan, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during project execution. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. Implement quality control processes and perform regular quality assessments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes. Generate and distribute project reports to stakeholders, providing insights into project performance and milestones achieved.

Position Proficiencies and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager in Healthcare IT 
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation principles.
  • Ability to work with multi time zone teams in both the U.S. as well as Eastern Europe.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
