The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic and technically astute Product Manager to lead the foundation of our next-generation technology. As the PM for Platform Services, you will own the strategy, roadmap, & governance for the shared services that power our EMR ecosystem.

In this high-impact role you will build Raintree's "digital bedrock," acting as the strategic connector across Clinical, Front Office, RCM, Interfaces, and Analytics. Ensure that all product teams build efficiently and consistently on a unified, scalable platform, directly enabling the modernization of our industry-leading therapy software to deliver better care and superior outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the platform strategy and roadmap for shared services. Prioritize initiatives based on feasibility, scalability, & strategic impact.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish governance, standards, and best practices for internal APIs, authentication, access control, & inter-domain integration.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner deeply with domain Product Managers and Platform Engineering to identify dependencies, design reusable services, and drive alignment on shared capabilities.
  • Reliability & Compliance: Champion platform reliability and security. You will work closely with engineering and architecture teams to enforce strict security and privacy standards, ensuring our infrastructure meets the highest regulatory requirements.
  • Customer & Market Research: Conduct in-depth user research, onsite observations, attend customer events, complete interviews, and perform data analysis to gain a deep understanding of the target persona's needs, pain points, and aspirations across various healthcare settings.
  • Performance & Adoption: Define KPIs and adoption metrics for platform components (e.g., service reuse, internal API adoption) to drive data-driven prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Sequencing & Prioritization: Facilitate cross-domain prioritization and sequencing, ensuring that foundational platform work is unblocked and aligned with broader product timelines and go-to-market strategies.
  • Agile Delivery & Risk Management: Lead iterative delivery and proactively manage technical risks to ensure predictable outcomes
  • Backlog Management: Translate technical strategy into clear, high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria that drive engineering efficiency.
  • Developer Experience: Advocate for reusability and the internal developer experience. You will support the consistent use of internal tools, APIs, and eventing systems, making it easier for feature teams to deliver value to customers faster.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Platform Leader: 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong background in distributed architecture and platform or infrastructure product management, ideally within SaaS, EMR, or healthcare technology companies.
  • Technical Authority: You possess a deep understanding of identity management, access control frameworks, event-driven architecture, and API ecosystem design. You are comfortable engaging in technical discussions with engineering leadership.
  • Translator of Complexity: Translates complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and outcomes for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding of the "why" behind platform investments.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have experience in governance frameworks that effectively balance flexibility with consistency across multiple product teams.
  • Collaborative Force: Excellent communicator and collaborator, driving complex, cross-domain initiatives through strong stakeholder management.
  • Analytical Mindset: You rely on data to drive decision-making, using analytics to monitor platform usage and performance to refine the offering.
  • Adaptive & Resilient: You thrive in ambiguity, quickly adjusting roadmaps and priorities based on new data, technical constraints, or shifting organizational needs.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent work experience.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with cloud-native microservice architecture & multi-tenant SaaS models.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, ONC Certification).
  • Previous work in EHR/EMR systems or healthcare data ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI/ML applications in healthcare is preferred
  • Hands-on experience working closely with UX,  engineering teams and technical stakeholders
  • Previous experience working as a software engineer or a strong technical educational background
