Product Manager - Revenue Cycle Management

Remote U.S.  (designated states)

This position is fully remote and may be performed from one of the following U.S. states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IN, KS, MA, MI, MS, NC, NV, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA.

The Product Manager - Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for identifying, defining and managing which Products and Services we deliver to the market - how, when, and at what price and cost. They have a commercial responsibility to ensure the right products are provided to an identified market need, the products are delivered as planned and that they create value to the organization. The domain of responsibility will be Revenue Cycle Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain roadmap to ensure it aligns with overall strategy, market imperatives and growth opportunities
  • Provides vision and general direction of the product 
  • Create business plans to drive new products
  • Identify and document a clear competitive landscape and understand and communicate our position
  • Define product positioning in relation to market, TAM/SAM/SOM, competitors, win/loss analysis, and identified personas
  • Create a Market Strategy based on research and understanding of the market, parallel opportunities, competitors, related vendors and partners
  • Coordinate and manage internal User Groups to ensure delivery of Products create customer value, support company growth targets, whilst delivering internal requirements of time, effort, and cost in supporting, delivering, and maintenance
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from sunsetting legacy products to prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas
  • Collate external customer, prospect, and market data and communications and analyze market trends and activities
  • Create Product Plans and Roadmaps, and ensure these are communicated, tracked, and managed at all steps, with adjustments made as necessary to ensure delivery of value
  • Accountable for the product success through KPIs
  • Work with PO to sign off Epic reviews as needed
  • Work with the PO and Development Lead(s) to ensure resourcing is in place to achieve roadmap, ROI, and CSAT targets
  • Define and keep an Ideal Customer Profile updated
  • Assist the Product Owners in delivering a detailed and prioritized Product Backlog including User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for the products and internal systems, which aligns with Product Strategy and Market Requirements
  • Review existing design for gaps in service, functionality and cost, and develop an improvement plan for each of the products
  • Interface with development regarding suggestions for new product features and enhancements
  • Assess Build/Buy/Partner opportunities
  • Identify and understand internal needs for any product initiatives
  • Coordinate product initiatives with other functional areas to ensure ease of support and adoption throughout the organization
  • Identify, create and maintain a pricing strategy and process for the features and initiatives

Position Proficiencies and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three or more years of experience in enterprise software focused on market stratification, business planning, and product commercialization.
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and achieve results through a cross functional team
  • Experience driving brand new service offerings in a technology environment highly desired
  • Ability to travel 30 % plus
