This position is fully remote and may be performed from one of the following U.S. states:
AL, AZ, FL, GA, IN, KS, MA, MI, MS, NC, NV, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA.

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as the Manager of Learning and Development.  In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with our company's vision, values, and goals.

This role collaborates closely with various teams and stakeholders to assess the learning needs, gaps, and opportunities of our current/future workforce and client education offerings. You will play a key role in ensuring the team you lead, in partnership with supporting teams, is creating and delivering engaging, relevant, and impactful learning solutions that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Lead a team of Learning and Development professionals and support their growth, development and performance management
  • Communicate vision and supporting goals to team members and manage the day to day delivery against these goals
  • Partner with HR, department heads, and other stakeholders to align L&D strategy with business objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand specific skill gaps and development opportunities for Rainees and clients
  • Design and develop innovative, scalable, and effective learning programs that address identified needs.
  • Create a variety of training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and multimedia content.
  • Ensure collaboration plans are in place and followed with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up to date.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
  • Partner with internal leaders to evaluate and create processes and standard operating procedures related to internal and external learning and knowledge tools and content.
  • Create and oversee the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of a variety of learning solutions, such as e-learning, instructor-led training, blended learning, microlearning, etc 
  • Partner with internal and external subject matter experts, vendors, and consultants to source, curate, and customize learning content and resources.
  • Manage the learning and development budget and resources, including negotiating contracts, managing vendors, and selecting learning platforms and tools.
  • Create and implement a learning evaluation framework and methodology to measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and impact of learning and development initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and innovations in learning and development and incorporate them into the learning strategy and solutions.
  • Lead or participate in other assigned projects and duties

Position Proficiencies and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years Learning and Development experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs,
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Proficiency in training software and multimedia tools for content development and delivery.
